Who we are

Jim Banks has been the sole owner/operator of Bathcrest Sarasota since its founding. He handles all resurfacing, Walk-thru installation, and repairs. With over 35 years of experience, Jim can offer unparalleled service. Jim works with respected local builders and contractors. His clients include Neal Communities, Kohler, American Standard, and  Lennar Homes. Jim and his wife Susan moved to the Sarasota area in 1989. Susan is a local elementary school teacher. They have two children. They remain active in their community.
